Wildlife
carers are amazing people. Guardian Angels to all wildlife.
They volunteer their time and invest their own money
into caring for the sick and orphaned wildlife, giving
them a second chance of life. It's a tremendous sacrific
which is not recognised and praised enough because nobody
really understands how much of their lives these carers
give up to help our wildlife flourish.
Australia,
particularly the state of Tasmania has some of the rarest
marsupials in the world. We take for granted how spectacular
our wildlife is and how vulnerable it is in this modern,
human dominated world.
Road
kill is a common thing and the majority of people don't
consider that after they have accidently (or intentionally)
killed a wallaby, a wombat or even a devil that maybe
there is a baby in the pouch that is still alive and
if not removed will freeze to death.
For
the the majority who don't check, there are the few
that do and that tiny little life is then put into the
hands of a Wildlife carer who works around the clock
to save this little creatures life.
