| Save
the Tasmanian Devil.
You can help just by spreading the word.
Word
of mouth is a very powerful tool and by you just telling
a few friends about the desperate plight of the Tasmanian
Devil and those friends passing on the message to their
friends and workmates then we may just get enough funds
and support to save this unique animal. Lets spread
the message around the world.
The
Devil Facial Tumour Disease
(DFTD) is wiping out the Tasmanian Devil Population
at an alarming rate and they predict that if a cure
is not found within the next few years, the Tasmanian
Devil could be extinct in the wild as soon as 20 years.
When
you become a Tasmanian Devil Ambassador, it is up to
you how involved you become. We would be thrilled for
you just to spread the word about this unique and rare
animal, and the disease that threatens to cause it’s
extinction in the very near future. We need money to
fund research into the Devil Facial Tumour Disease and
save this amazing animal. There is no other animal like
it in the world. Its closest relative is the Spotted
Tailed Quoll which is also a threatened species.
Registering
as a Tasmanian Devil Ambassador is free of charge
and we wont sell your information to a third party
although we may pass on offers to you from our sponsors
from time to time. The more ambassadors we get the
more funding we are also liable to get with the knowledge
that there is widespread interest for this animal.
Individuals, schools, community groups and businesses
all around the world are invited to join our fight
and become Devil Ambassadors.
The
Tasmanian Devil is the largest living Carnivorous
Marsupial in the world and one of the most environmentally
friendly creatures on earth. Cleaning up decomposing
carcasses resulting in less disease.
It
doesn’t matter in what part of the world you
are in, you can be involved. You can organise fundraising
events. If you are in Australia you can volunteer
at “Devils on the Verandah” events as
they happen in different states or if you are in Tasmania
or plan to visit, there are plenty of activities that
you can volunteer for.
As
a Devil Ambassador you are kept up to date with the
latest news and events via email and you receive a
certificate which you can print out to show that you
are a Tasmanian Devil Ambassador.
It
is totally FREE to register as an ambassador and you
are not obligated to participate in any way if you
don’t choose to. Register
your support now and receive our "Devils on the
Verandah" Newsletter.
