Register
your school as a Tasmanian Devil Ambassador and run
fundraising events to raise money to save the Devil.
All funds you raise will help in the fight against
the Devil Facial Tumour Disease and as a thank you
for you efforts we will give you 10% of the funds
raised back to your school.
We
offer competitions and activities for students throughout
the year and if you would like to study the Tasmanian
Devil, a "Devils on the Verandah" team member
may be able to visit your school and give a talk.
This
website is still being updated and will eventually
have all information you need to know about the Tasmanian
Devil and other Tasmanian Wildlife. A great resource
for your school and we can provide worksheets for
students.
All
school activities will be acknowledged on our news
page and schools page and for schools who want to
really get behind the Devil, we will dedicate a page
just for your school.
Your
school will be kept up to date with newsletters and
advised of up-coming events that the school can participate
in. Teachers and students can give suggestions and
get actively involved in the "Devils on the Verandah"
Program which is mending the relationship between
the Tasmanian Devil and humans.
We will send you newsletters, news and upcoming events.
We will even send you a certificate to say you are
"Tasmanian Devil Ambassador" That's something
to be proud of.
